really want to make it through the 2 audition before you actually sing
infront of the judges (well coaches). And I'm really stuck on what to
sing. I've been not knowing what genre I like to sing in. And I really
love the whole country pop idea, like Kelly Clarkson, Taylor Swift
does. Both of them have inspired me for so long to actually sing.
Although I've been singing since I was 9, because my mom is a singer
and I guess I got it from her... I don't know. But I was thinking of
maybe singing "Mine" by Taylor Swift for the taped auditions (if I
make it that far after the first 2 auditions, before they let you sing
live). And I was also thinking of singing "Behind these Hazel Eyes" by
Kelly Clarkson. Although I can sing that song well, I feel more
comfortable singing "Mine" by Taylor. And for the first round of
auditions I'm thinking of singing "Back to December" by Taylor, and
"Perfect" because they said that you had to prepare 2 songs.
So because I chose perfect, it's because I want to show them that I
can sing Pop too. Because I can but not aswell, even though Perfect is
one of those songs that I think I can sing perfectly like one of
Taylors songs, and nobody that I know on "The Voice" has done it yet
for their audition; So I think that'd be a good choice ::) But I'm a
girl who loves to sing, and this is really what I want to do. Although
I'm only 18, I have a strong passion for singing. And I was also
thinking of maybe singing "Your Song" by Elton John. It's a really,
really old song, but it fits my range, I think I just heard it for the
first time today and the song was done in 1974. I think. And I have a
2nd saprano voice, so I think it'd be a good choice, since it's so
old. Would that impress them more?? Considering it's a really old song
in the first place?? And they probably think that I 18 year old girl
wouldn't even know of that song right? Would that be a better song?
What song should I sing?? I'm so stuck! I really want this as a
career. And I feel like I have a good shot at impressing Blake or
maybe Adam, and maybe Christina or Cee Lo. But I really don't know For
the song "Your Song" by Elton, would that impress Christina or Blake
more?? Considering ther fact that Blake's more country style, and
Christina's more Soul?? If I sing it well, which I think I can sing.
And it's such a beautiful song aswell. Would that be a good song
choice to sing for the auditions, where I'm actually infront of the
coaches?? I really want to make it my career. And I feel like I could
have a really good opertunity here. And I DON'T WANT IT FOR THE FAME.
I just want to sing. But which song should I sing??? Thanks in advance
