Is it weird for a person to like pop-rock music, but not pop?

Okay, so I don't mind listening to artists of the early 2000's like
the All American Rejects, Paramore, and Avril Lavigne...but I can't
stand the dance pop (you know Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Bruno Mars) Is it
weird that I like one subgenre of pop and not the other pop?
